Introduction

The Hawaiʻi ʻUlu Cooperative is a farmer-owned social enterprise uniting over 150 growers across the islands. Together, they revitalize traditional Hawaiian crops like ʻulu (breadfruit) while promoting food security, sustainability, and local self-reliance. Through shared resources, fair pricing, and community collaboration, the co-op empowers farmers and strengthens Hawaiʻi’s local food system.
