Macala Orchards is a family-owned orchard in Sage, California, growing olives, pomegranates, figs, guavas, and zinfandel grapes on a 20-acre property called Villa Macala. Inspired by the family's Italian roots, they hand-harvest their olives and press them within hours to make award-winning extra virgin olive oil certified by the California Olive Oil Council. Their pomegranates become cold-pressed juice and jelly, and their guavas and figs become seasonal jams. Everything they sell is made from fruit grown on their own trees.
